Summer Sports Camps - General Information

QUICK FACTS

 

FOR SAFETY                                                                                                                                               

Campers should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their camp session begins and must be picked up promptly at the end of their session. Campers are not permitted to remain on any part of the campus after camp hours, as there is no supervision.                                         

WHERE TO REPORT                                                                                                                                  

All Jersey Blues Sports Camps will be held at the Lincroft Campus. Drop off and pick up will be in the designated parking lots listed below.      

Parking Lot #6- Tennis, Field Hockey, Softball and Soccer

Parking Lot #7- Basketball, Backyard Games, Fencing, Cheer / Dance, Girls Volleyball and Indoor Track Running

 

EARLY DISMISSAL                                                                

Early dismissals must be signed out from the camp office.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

CONDUCT                                                                

Any camper not following camp rules will be dismissed from camp and no refund will be given.                                                               

 

MEDICAL POLICY                                                               

If camper is taking any medication, uses an inhaler, and/or has any type of physical limitations, a medical form must be completed and returned two  weeks before the start of camp. A form can be obtained by calling 732-224-2123.                             

 

TRANSPORTATION                                               

Each camper must provide transportation. Carpools will not be arranged and information regarding other campers will not be provided.                                                               

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER                                                                                                     

No camp will be canceled. If there is inclement weather, all campers will report to the gym. (Please use lot #6 or #7). You must have sneakers for gym use.     

 

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT FOR CAMPS

Backyard Games / Fencing / Basketball / Cheer-Dance / Girls Volleyball / Indoor Track Running: Sneakers

Field Hockey: field hockey stick, mouth guard and shin guards

Tennis: tennis racket and sneakers

Soccer: cleats or sneakers and shin guards

Softball: cleats or sneakers and a glove.

           

* Please label all your equipment & keep it in a gym bag. An extra pair of socks, water bottle, and sneakers for use in the gym & cafeteria are required. Wear appropriate clothes and footwear for each camp. Brookdale Community College is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items (watches, jewelry, ipod, etc.)
