Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues can't recall the last time their season got off to a 1-4 start, but they don't plan for that to continue. The Brookdale men took another tight game hit in the Robert J. Collins Arena against the Union County College Owls.
The Blues got off to a slow start and were only able to score three points in the first eight and a half minutes of the game, leading to a 31-22 trailing score at the half. Brookdale took the lead by three in the second half, but had difficulty with their execution and closing out the game for the win. The leading scorers on the night were freshman guards, Adam Kukaj (Tottenville Hogh School) and Jelani Carter (Hackensack High School).
Brookdale will welcome the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College on Tuesday, November 26th @ 7:00pm.
