Six Score In Double Figures For Brookdale Win At RCSJ-Gloucester

Sewell, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team gained a win on the road against the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, 89-77, putting them at 14-9 and 12-7 in the conference.

The Jersey Blues took control of the first half and headed into the locker room with a 16 point lead. Despite the traded baskets in the second half, the Roadrunners came within nine points before the Blues pulled away for the win. Leading the scoring pack was freshman guard, Jelani Carter, who also had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward, Tyler Hawkins, dropped 15 points as freshman guard, Adam Kukaj, hit for 14. Freshman guard, Allen Ozojie, also landed a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds while Deondre Smith (Naaman Forest High School) scored 12 points and David Calloway (St. Rose High School) added 10. 

Brookdale will head to Philadelphia, PA to face the Lions of CC Philadelphia on Tuesday, February 11th, @ 7pm.
