Brookdale Drops Two Close Games To Division II Southeastern On Spring Trip

Whiteville, NC - The Brookdale softball team fell to Southeastern Community College, 2-1 in the first game and 4-3 in the second. In game one, freshman third baseman Alyssa Raimondo smacked two hits and an RBI, as freshman outfielder Tori Lucarelli knocked two hits for the Blues.

In game two against SCC, freshman shortstop Lizzie Dorsa earned two hits with one being a solo home run, her first as a collegiate player. Freshman outfielder Carley Layton tallied two hits with an RBI while sophomore pitcher Bobbie Beck struck a single and charted an RBI for the books as well.

The Jersey Blues will next take on the Generals of Herkimer College on Sunday, March 11th @ in Myrtle Beach, SC.
