Lincroft, NJ - The Cumberland County College women didn't have the depth or strength to hold up the Jersey Blues on Saturday. Brookdale was strong on offense, worked the ball, and attacked on defense in their 95-37 win. Sophomore, Che'Kasha Andrews led all scores with 24 points and had six steals.
It was a true team effort from the Blues as four other players scored in double digits. Sophomore, Brianna Bowen, dropped 19 points and had six steals, six assists. Sophomore guard, Alexa Vreeland, deposited 18 points, Freshman Kayla Fletcher contributed 12, and Sophomore center, Katelyn Molloy provided 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Brookdale is now 16-10 overall, and 13-3 in the conference. They are headed to the Community College of Philadelphia Tuesday, February 13th, 5pm.
