Edgy Match Favors RCSJ Roadrunners Over Jersey Blues

Sewell, NJ - The Jersey Blues executed their strategy to slow down the Roadrunners' offense, but on a match filled with long rallies, Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester came out on top. Brookdale fell in three sets, 0-3 (23-25, 20-25, 21-25).

Sophomore outside hitter Katie O'Neill crushed 12 kills and two aces while scooping eight digs. Freshman middle hitter Carolyn Hazard tallied seven kills and three blocks. Sophomore setter Ciarah Minnig dished 22 assists and posted two kills in the match-up.

The team will return home to celebrate the sophomore's in a conference match against Bergen Community College on Tuesday, October 15th at 7pm.
