Brookdale's Vitale Named GSAC Player Of The Week

Blackwood, NJ - Brookdale Community College sophomore outfielder Anthony Vitale has been named the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) player-of-the-week for the week ending March 23, 2014.

Nick Vitale (Brick Township/Brick HS) had a banner week for the Brookdale Jersey Blues.  Vitale, Brookdale's starting center fielder, batted .524 which included three doubles, one triple, one home run, five RBI's and 6 stolen bases. All this in a week of competition against two top 5 teams in the Nation and a competitive DII team.
