Sophomore Third Baseman Mike Russell Named GSAC Player Of The Week

Branchburg, NJ- Sophomore third baseman Mike Russell  has been named Garden State Athletic Conference Division III baseball player of the week.

Russell had an outstanding week at the plate for the Jersey Blues, as he hit .579 with two doubles, four RBIs, six runs scored, and two walks. The Jersey Blues swept the doubleheader with (#2) Rowan College at Gloucester County 4-1 and 7-2, and swept Bergen Community College 6-4, 14-2, and 13-1.

The Jersey Blues are 19-2 on the 2017 season.
