Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball whipped the Raritan Valley Community College Lions, 10-0, in a non-conference game to improve their record to 33-8.
Freshman Gary John Perone (3-1) took the mound and didn't get off for all 7.0 innings, allowing just one hit while hurling 11 strikeouts. In the batters box, freshman right fielder, Casey Gardiner, ripped a moonshot over the center field fence for a grand slam, then added a double in his 3-for 4-at bats. Sophomore third baseman, Junior Nunez, backed up the Blues with three RBI's after hitting 2-for-3 on the day.
Brookdale (33-8) will remain at home to host the Mercer County Community College Vikings on Wednesday, April 30th, at 3:30pm.
