Brookdale Baseball Takes Down Oakton CC In Day-2 Of World Series
Auburn, NY - The Brookdale Jersey Blues baseball team took down the #7 seeded Oakton Community College Owls, 3-1, in the day-2 elimination game of the 2025 NJCAA World Series at Falcon Park.

Auburn, NY - The Brookdale baseball team took down the #7 seeded Oakton Community College Owls, 3-1, in the day-2 elimination game of the 2025 NJCAA World Series at Falcon Park.
Outstanding and versatile player, Gary John Perone, was sensational on the mound for the Blues as he faced 33 batters in all of his nine innings. Perone allowed just two hits and four walks with nine strikeouts on the day. At bat, freshman second baseman, Christopher Clark, went 2-for-3 for an RBI and freshman left fielder, Anthony Pizzuti supplied an RBI hit as well.
The Jersey Blues will face the #4 Dallas College-Richland Thunder Ducks in the second elimination game of the 2025 World Series on Monday, May 26th, beginning at 4:05pm.
