Vikings Contain Jersey Blues After First-Inning Strike
West Windsor, NJ – The Brookdale Community College Jersey Blues baseball team dropped a tightly contested 3–1 decision on the road to the Mercer County Community College Vikings on Monday afternoon.

West Windsor, NJ – The Brookdale Community College Jersey Blues baseball team dropped a tightly contested 3–1 decision on the road to the Mercer County Community College Vikings on Monday afternoon.
Brookdale generated six hits in the contest but was unable to push across additional runs after striking first in the opening inning. The Jersey Blues capitalized early when a sophomore third baseman Anthony Pizzuti delivered an RBI hit to bring home Brookdale's lone run of the game.
The Jersey Blues now stand at 2–1 and will look to bounce back when they return to their home field when Brookdale hosts the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes for a single nine-inning game on Tuesday, March 10th at 3:30 pm.
