Lincroft, NJ - The current 19-4 Brookdale Jersey Blues men's basketball team were victorious over the Northampton Community College Spartans with a final score of 79-67.
The Blues kept a consistent lead throughout the game and were up by as much as 23 points in the second half. The Spartans cut the lead to 10 at one point, but freshman forward, Niles Halliburton, planted a couple of three's to push the lead to 16. Halliburton finished with a team-high 18 points, and freshman guard, Kevin Mateo, scored second highest with 12. Freshman guard, Coby Sylvester, contributed 11 points, as freshman guard Andre Wells, and freshman forward, Ronn Flood, each tossed in 10.
The Brookdale men will face the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks in Carney's Point, NJ, on Monday, February, 14th, at 6:00pm.
