Basketball's Kevin Mateo Is Selected As GSAC Player Of The Year

Lincroft, NJ - Hackensack, NJ, native and sophomore point guard, Kevin Mateo, is having an amazing year on the basketball court. He and his fellow Jersey Blues recently earned both GSAC and Region 19 Championships, and now Kevin has been selected as the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Player of the Year.

Mateo is a resilient and consistent leader on the floor, and his stats show it. He is averaging 16.9 points per game, shooting 87% from the free throw line, has 118 assists and 61 steals, and still has more season left as the team moves on to nationals.
