Brookdale Men Lose Opener Against Rockland CC

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues men's basketball team opened the 2024-2025 season with a 74-70 loss against the DII Rockland Community College Hawks in game-one of the Brookdale Basketball Classic Sponsored by Jersey Mike's Subs of Lincroft.

Leading the Jersey Blues was sophomore guard, Jack Zink, who scored 22 points as freshman forward, Devyn Wright-Myles, threw in 14 points. Entering double-doubles for the Blues were sophomore forward, Regan Burke, with 11 points and 14 rebounds, and sophomore guard, Latrell Thompson, with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.

Brookdale will host the Monroe University/Bronx Express in game-two of the Brookdale Basketball Classic on Sunday, November 3rd, at 3:00pm.
