Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College Jersey Blues put forth a determined defensive effort but ultimately fell short, dropping a 67–53 decision to the Union College Owls in conference play.
Sophomore guard Keith Allen led Brookdale with a well-rounded performance, posting 12 points, four assists, and three steals. Freshman guard Kyle Fulcher added 10 points, giving the Blues a needed spark in the backcourt.
Despite their hustle and strong work ethic on the defensive end, the Jersey Blues struggled to generate consistent offense and were unable to close the gap in the second half.
Brookdale now sits at 2–4 overall and 2–2 in conference play. The Jersey Blues will look to regroup quickly as they prepare to host the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes on Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 p.m.
