Blackwood, NJ - The Brookdale Community College Jersey Blues men's basketball team pulled out a hard-fought 73-70 victory over the Camden County College Cougars in a tightly contested conference match-up.
Brookdale found itself trailing by five points in the first half but responded with a determined second-half effort, outscoring Camden by nine points to secure the three-point win. The Jersey Blues showed poise down the stretch, coming up with key defensive stops and timely baskets when it mattered most.
Freshman guard Emmanuel Miller led the charge for Brookdale with 15 points and four steals, delivering on both ends of the floor. Freshman guard Kyle Fulcher added 12 points, while freshman forward Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk chipped in 10 points to give the Jersey Blues balanced scoring throughout the lineup.
With the win, Brookdale improves to 8-4 on the season and continues to build momentum as conference play heats up.
The Jersey Blues will return home for their next contest as they host the Sussex County Community College Skylanders on Tuesday, December 9th, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00pm.
