Carney's Point, NJ - Brookdale Community College men's basketball saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end with an 83-67 road loss to the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks.
The Jersey Blues battled throughout the contest but were unable to overcome Salem's offensive surge. Sophomore guard Keith Allen led Brookdale with 18 points, providing a steady presence on the perimeter. Freshman forward Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk added 16 points in the effort, while freshman guard Kyle Fulcher contributed 15 points to round out the Jersey Blues' top scorers.
Despite the setback, Brookdale remains in a strong position with a 10-5 overall record as the season continues to unfold.
The Jersey Blues will look to bounce back in their next contest as they head back on the road to face the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes on Tuesday, December 16, with tipoff scheduled for 7:00 pm.
