Sophomore guard Keith Allen powered the Jersey Blues with a standout 30-point performance and three steals, setting the tone on both ends of the floor. Freshman guard Kevin Hemans added 17 points, while freshman guard Kyle Fulcher delivered 16 of his own, giving Brookdale steady production in the backcourt. Freshman forward Matthew Slaby was a force inside, recording a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds to help Brookdale control key possessions down the stretch. Timely baskets in the final minutes kept the Roadrunners at bay as the Jersey Blues showcased strong composure in a competitive matchup.
Brookdale now stands at 13-5 overall and will next travel to face the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers on Saturday, January 17th, with tipoff set for 2:00 pm.
