Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's basketball team delivered one of the defining moments of their season, defeating the undefeated and NJCAA Division III top-ranked Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, 89-83
Freshman forward Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk powered Brookdale's offense with a game-high 28 points, showcasing a mix of strength, poise, and clutch scoring. Sophomore guard Keith Allen followed with an impressive 24 points while also distributing eight assists, controlling the backcourt tempo throughout the contest. In the paint, sophomore center Evan Weiner added 15 critical points, giving the Blues balance inside and out. Also making a notable impact was sophomore point guard Ariel Perez, who recorded eight assists and helped guide Brookdale's ball movement in several key stretches.
With the statement victory, the Jersey Blues improve to 15-6 on the season and continue to build momentum heading into their next matchup. Brookdale will travel to face the Ocean County College Vikings on Saturday, January 31, with tip-off set for 12:00 pm.
