Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men’s basketball team earned a dramatic 78-77 victory over the Ocean County College Vikings, overcoming an 11-point halftime deficit to secure a memorable road win. The Jersey Blues surged late in the second half, tightening their defense and finding timely scoring to complete the comeback.

The Jersey Blues surged late in the second half, tightening their defense and finding timely scoring to complete the comeback.
Freshman forward Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk led the effort with 19 points, steadying Brookdale during several key stretches. Sophomore guard Shaun Valentine delivered an exceptional performance, going 7-for-8 from the floor for 15 points while adding seven assists to fuel the offense. Freshman guard Kevin Hemans also came up big, matching Valentine with 15 points and providing crucial momentum as the Blues clawed back into the game.
With the hard-fought victory, Brookdale improves to 16-6 and continues to build momentum in the heart of the season. The Jersey Blues return home to face the Passaic County College Panthers on Tuesday, February 3rd, with tip-off set for 7:00 pm.
