Hard-Fought Contest Ends In Tough Loss For The Blues
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's basketball team battled through a competitive conference matchup but came up short at home against the Northampton Community College Spartans, 73-67. The Jersey Blues kept the game within reach throughout the contest, leaning on steady offensive efforts and late defensive pressure, yet the Spartans managed to close it out down the stretch.

The Jersey Blues kept the game within reach throughout the contest, leaning on steady offensive efforts and late defensive pressure, yet the Spartans managed to close it out down the stretch.
Leading the way for Brookdale was sophomore guard Keith Allen, who continued his reliable scoring presence. Freshman forward Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk added another strong performance, matching Allen with 16 points of his own. Sophomore center Evan Weiner contributed 12 points as Brookdale worked to keep momentum on their side in a back-and-forth game.
With the loss, the Jersey Blues move to 17-7 on the season. Brookdale will look to rebound quickly as they head on the road for their next challenge, visiting the Luzerne County Community College Trailblazers on February 7th at 1:00pm.
