Mays Landing, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's volleyball team battled through four competitive sets but came up short against the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers, falling 3-1 on the road. The set scores were 20-25, 25-20, 16-25, and 23-25.
Sophomore middle hitter Jahki Willis paced the Brookdale attack with 10 kills, continuing to be a consistent presence at the net. Freshman outside hitter Mauricio Catalan added nine kills while contributing energy on both sides of the court.
With the result, the Jersey Blues move to 4-3 on the season.
Brookdale will look to bounce back quickly as they return to the court on Saturday, March 7th, traveling to face the Monroe University Mustangs at 11:00 a.m.
