Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball improves their record to 19-5 after defeating the Middlesex College Blue Colts in a double header, 17-5, 7-0.
Sophomore pitcher, Gianna Praet (Freehold Boro High School), earned her 10th win in game one with two earned runs and six strikeouts. Additionally, Praet was just as strong on the offensive side as she hit 4-for-4 totaling four RBI's, including a triple and a double. Sophomore shortstop, Nicolette Pavlik (Holmdel High School), batted 2-for-4 to add three RBI's from her double and single, and sophomore third baseman, Zoey Hagan (Henry Hudson High School), also went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI's.
Game two was short lived as a forfeit with a 7-0 final score.
The Jersey Blues (19-5) will play the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings next, on Thursday, April 20th, at 3:30pm.
