Fay, Hart Named GSAC Softball Pitcher And Player Of The Week

Lincroft, NJ - A strong week for Brookdale softball led by Jessica Fay and Jules Hart, earning them GSAC Pitcher and Player of the Week honors.

Sophomore catcher Jessica Fay had a standout week for the Jersey Blues as the team went 2-2 on the week. Fay totaled seven hits including one triple, scored five runs, stole one base and knocked in seven RBI's.

Freshman pitcher Jules Hart spun for two games on the week, earning one win against Monroe University - Bronx, 24-1 and falling to DII Mercer, 2-1. Hart tossed for 13 innings and struck out 17 batters.
