Softball Drops Game-One Against Middlesex In Region 19 Tournament Semi's
Sewell, NJ - Brookdale softball dropped their first game against the Middlesex College Colts, 14-10, in the Region 19 Tournament Senifinals, hosted by RCSJ-Gloucester. The Jersey Blues were up 10-0 in the bottom of the 4th inning until the Colts capitalized on some Brookdale errors and they just exploded with hits thereafter in the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings to push past the Blues.

Freshman right fielder, Emma Zazzarino, stepped up with her strength in the batters box as she pounder two doubles for three RBI's, and freshman pitcher, Jules Hart, also did some damage by batting 4-for-5 with a double for two RBI's. Sophomore shortstop lead-off batter, Jillian Fay, crushed a triple in her 3-for-5 at bats with an RBI as sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, and freshman third baseman, Jadeyn Pavlik, each batted 3-for-4 for an RBI a piece.
Brookdale (31-10) will stay put for game-two against the Northampton Community College Spartans, beginning at 3:45pm.
