Brookdale Softball Explodes For 27 Runs In Sweep Of Cumberland
Vineland, NJ - The Brookdale Community College softball team delivered a dominant performance, sweeping the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes 12-0 and 15-3 to improve to 5-3 on the season.

Vineland, NJ - The Brookdale Community College softball team delivered a dominant performance, sweeping the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes 12-0 and 15-3 to improve to 5-3 on the season.
In game one, the Jersey Blues controlled the action from start to finish. Freshman third baseman Isabella Graci drove in three RBI to lead the offense, while freshman catcher Alexa Cebulski stayed hot at the plate with a home run and a double for two RBI. Sophomore pitcher Julus Hart also contributed offensively, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
In the circle, Hart was outstanding, pitching all five innings while allowing just two hits and striking out seven batters in the shutout victory.
Brookdale carried that momentum into game two with another explosive offensive showing. Cebulski came through in a big way, driving in four RBI including a double. Sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino added a two-RBI double, and freshman left fielder Katelyn Hernandez chipped in with two RBI.
Sophomore pitcher Jadeyn Pavlik earned the win in the second game, improving to 3-1 on the season after tossing five innings in the 15-3 victory.
The Jersey Blues will return home for their next doubleheader against the Chesapeake College Skipjacks on Sunday, March 22nd, beginning at 12:00pm.
