Freshman shortstop Adrianna Cruz made a strong impact for the Jersey Blues, driving in two RBI off a key hit to help generate offense in the twin bill. Additional contributions came from sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino and freshman center fielder Sophia Lasater, who each added timely hits to support the effort.
In game two, Zazzarino struck again, going a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate while adding an RBI to lead the offensive push for Brookdale.
Now 16-8 on the season, the Jersey Blues will look to regroup as they prepare to host the tough RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners on Saturday, April 4th, with first pitch scheduled for 12:00pm.
