Jersey Blues Erupt Twice To Bury Cougars At Home

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues delivered a powerful conference performance on their home field, sweeping the Camden County College Cougars in dominant fashion, 13-1 and 15-8, to improve to 21-9 on the season.
In game one, sophomore pitcher Jules Hart led the charge both in the circle and at the plate. Hart went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, including a double, while also controlling the game defensively. She struck out seven batters and allowed just two hits over 5.0 innings to earn the win and improve to 11-4 on the season. Freshman center fielder Sophia Lasater added to the offensive surge with an RBI double, while freshman first baseman Isabella Graci contributed an RBI hit to help fuel the early rout.
The momentum carried into game two as sophomore Jadeyn Pavlik secured the win in the circle. Freshman left fielder Katelyn Hernandez delivered a key moment with a crushing double that drove in three runs for the Jersey Blues. Hart remained a force offensively, going 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI, while sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino added two more RBI in the win. Lasater continued her strong day with two doubles and an RBI, and additional RBI contributions came from Pavlik, freshman catcher Alexa Cebulski, and Graci to round out the scoring effort.
The Jersey Blues will return to action at home as they host the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes on Friday, April 17th, with first pitch set for 3:00 PM.
