Jersey Blues Grind Through Home Challenge Against Salem
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball faced a tough home challenge against the DII Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, falling by scores of 3-0 and 8-3.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball faced a tough home challenge against the DII Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, falling by scores of 3-0 and 8-3.
In game one, the Jersey Blues were limited offensively, with hits coming from sophomore pitcher Jules Hart and sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino. Hart turned in a strong performance in the circle, battling through 7.0 innings while striking out nine and allowing just three hits.
Brookdale showed more offensive life in game two as freshman shortstop Adrianna Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Freshman left fielder Katelyn Hernandez and sophomore pitcher Jadeyn Pavlik each added an RBI as the Jersey Blues continued to compete throughout the contest.
Brookdale will remain on its home field for the next matchup against the Northampton Community College Spartans on Saturday, April 25th at 12:00pm.
