Blues Roar Past Cougars On The Road
Blackwood, NJ - Brookdale Community College softball continued its outstanding season with a road sweep of the Camden County College Cougars, winning 9-2 and 17-0 to improve to 29-11 overall and 23-1 in conference play.

Blackwood, NJ - Brookdale Community College softball continued its outstanding season with a road sweep of the Camden County College Cougars, winning 9-2 and 17-0 to improve to 29-11 overall and 23-1 in conference play.
In game one, freshman shortstop Adrianna Cruz powered the offense with a triple, a double, and two RBI. Sophomore pitcher Jules Hart helped her own cause by adding a triple, a single, and two RBI. Additional RBI hits came from sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino and freshman catcher Alexa Cebulski as the Jersey Blues controlled the opener.
Hart was sharp in the circle, throwing all 7.0 innings with seven strikeouts to improve her record to 15-5.
Brookdale's offense exploded again in game two, with hits coming from throughout the lineup. Cruz stayed hot with a three RBI double, while sophomore pitcher Jadeyn Pavlik went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Freshman first baseman Sophia Lasater added two RBI in her 2-for-3 performance, and freshman third baseman Isabella Graci delivered a two RBI single.
Hart, Zazzarino, and Cebulski each added RBI singles to complete the offensive surge. Pavlik earned the shutout win in the circle, improving to 14-6 after pitching the full game while allowing just three hits and no walks.
The Jersey Blues now turn their attention to a key conference matchup on Monday, April 27th, when they travel to Sewell, NJ to face the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners at 3:30pm.
