Hard Fought Split Leads To Conference Glory
Sewell, NJ - Brookdale Community College softball earned a share of the GSAC title after splitting a doubleheader with the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, winning game one 5-0 before falling 4-3 in game two.

Sewell, NJ - Brookdale Community College softball earned a share of the GSAC title after splitting a doubleheader with the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, winning game one 5-0 before falling 4-3 in game two.
In the opener, sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino led the offensive effort, going 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI. Freshman first baseman Isabella Graci, freshman left fielder Sophia Costa, and freshman shortstop Adrianna Cruz each contributed with 2-for-4 performances and an RBI apiece.
The Jersey Blues carried that momentum into game two, where Cruz remained clutch with another RBI in her 2-for-4 outing. Freshman center fielder Sophia Lasater and freshman catcher Alexa Cebulski each added RBI singles in the tightly contested matchup.
Sophomore pitcher Jules Hart delivered a strong effort across both games, throwing a combined 16 innings with seven strikeouts and just three walks to move to 16-6 on the season.
With the split, Brookdale secures a share of the GSAC championship and will return home for its final regular season game against the Northampton Community College Spartans on Friday, May 1st at 2:30pm.
