Blues Battle Past Top Seeded Roadrunners In Regional Clash
Edison, NJ - The No. 2 Brookdale Community College softball team earned a hard-fought 7-5 victory over the No. 1 seeded RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners in a gritty Region 19 Tournament game two battle.
Edison, NJ - The No. 2 Brookdale Community College softball team earned a hard-fought 7-5 victory over the No. 1 seeded RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners in a gritty Region 19 Tournament game two battle.
Sophomore catcher Alexa Cebulski came through in a huge moment for the Jersey Blues, batting 2-for-4 with two RBI to help push Brookdale ahead. Sophomore pitcher Jules Hart delivered a complete performance, going 3-for-4 with an RBI at the plate while also battling through 7.0 innings in the circle for the win. Freshman shortstop Adrianna Cruz added another key offensive effort, going 2-for-3 with an RBI as the Jersey Blues continued to answer throughout the contest.
With the win, Brookdale advances to face RCSJ-Gloucester once again in the Region 19 Tournament Championship game on Monday, May 11th at 3:00pm.
