Adrianna Cruz Named NJCAA Region 19 Division III Player Of The Year

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College freshman Adrianna Cruz was named the 2026 NJCAA Region 19 Division III Softball Player of the Year after an outstanding season for the Jersey Blues.

The Toms River East High School graduate played in 48 games and became one of the top players in the region during her freshman campaign. Cruz finished the season with a .503 batting average while recording 77 hits, 69 runs scored, 44 RBI, and 37 stolen bases. She also posted a .876 fielding percentage at shortstop.

Her strong all-around play helped lead Brookdale to a 34-13-1 overall record, a 26-2 conference finish, and a Region 19 Runner-Up season.
