Golden Glove Grace: Zazzarino Earns National Defensive Honor

Lincroft, NJ – Brookdale Community College sophomore right fielder Emma Zazzarino has been named a recipient of the 2026 NFCA Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented annually by Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. to the nation's top defensive players.

Zazzarino earned one of nine Division III outfield selections after an outstanding season in center field for the Jersey Blues. In 48 games, she posted a .961 fielding percentage, recording 49 putouts while committing just two errors.

The Rawlings Gold Glove Award is presented annually to the best defensive student-athletes at each position across all three NJCAA divisions, highlighting those who demonstrate outstanding fielding ability and a commitment to defensive excellence.

Her national recognition adds another impressive honor to Brookdale Softball and Jersey Blues Athletics.
