Newton, NJ - The Brookdale Community College women's basketball team extended its winning streak to six games with a strong 77-60 victory over the Sussex County Community College Skylanders. The Jersey Blues controlled the game from start to finish, outscoring the Skylanders in every quarter and maintaining a steady offensive rhythm throughout.

The Jersey Blues controlled the game from start to finish, outscoring the Skylanders in every quarter and maintaining a steady offensive rhythm throughout.
Freshman guard Laila Hagan led Brookdale with 18 points, while freshman guard Leomary Diaz-Merino followed closely with 17. Sophomore guard Jocelyn Jackson added 14 points, helping secure the team's sixth consecutive win and closing out the regular season on a high note.
Brookdale concludes its regular season with a 14-11 overall record and a 10-8 mark in conference play, earning the number six seed in the Region 19 DIII North Atlantic District Playoffs. The Jersey Blues will travel to face the third-seeded Northampton Community College Spartans on Tuesday, February 24th at 5:00pm.
