Baltimore, MD- The Brookdale women's soccer team defeated the Knights of CCBC Essex, 1-0. In the 58th minute of the game, sophomore center-midfielder Meghan Begley beautifully passed the ball to sophomore midfielder Raquel Rodriguez's leading foot. Rodriguez drilled the soccer ball past the goalkeeper to put the Blues up by one.

In the 58th minute of the game, sophomore center-midfielder Meghan Begley beautifully passed the ball to sophomore midfielder Raquel Rodriguez's leading foot. Rodriguez drilled the soccer ball past the goalkeeper to put the Blues up by one.
The Blues defense held tight for the remaining thirty-two minutes. Freshman goalkeeper Marti Stewart picked up her sixth shutout of the season, posting nine saves.
The team returns to action against the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College at home on Tuesday, October 21st for a 3:30pm kick-off.
