Pemberton, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team took down the Barons of Rowan College at Burlington County, 2-1. Sophomore center-midfielder Ashley Cafarella put the Blues on the board first, netting a goal after receiving a pass from freshman forward Aubrey Jones.

Pemberton, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team took down the Barons of Rowan College at Burlington County, 2-1. Sophomore center-midfielder Ashley Cafarella put the Blues on the board first, netting a goal after receiving a pass from freshman forward Aubrey Jones.
Minutes later, Jones connected with the back of the net after collecting the ball from sophomore midfieler Brianna Penix to put the Jersey Blues up by two.
Brookdale's defense played a tough match and kept the Barons out of the back. Sophomore goalkeeper Marti Stewart grabbed nine saves.
The team improves their overall record to 12-1. Brookdale returns to action on Saturday, October 17th against the Cougars of Camden County College for a 12pm kick-off.
