Brookdale Ties Northampton In Double Overtime

Bethlehem, PA - The Brookdale women's soccer team tied the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 3-3. The Blues went down by one early in the first half and scored two goals to take the lead before half-time. Freshman forward Gianna Murphy ripped the first goal while freshman forward Christine Albano netted the second.

Bethlehem, PA - The Brookdale women's soccer team tied the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 3-3. The Blues went down by one early in the first half and scored two goals to take the lead before half-time. Freshman forward Gianna Murphy ripped the first goal while freshman forward Christine Albano netted the second.

Murphy recorded the third and final goal for the Jersey Blues in the second half. Sophomore forward Breeana Cassidy dished two assists and freshman midfielder Alexandra Sweeney collected one assist.

The teams record stands at 1-1. Brookdale will next travel to Camden County College to face the Cougars on Saturday, September 9th for a noon kick-off.
