Jersey Blues Advance To Region XIX Tournament Finals With Win Over Lehigh Carbon
Middletown, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's soccer team blanked the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College, 11-0 in the semi-final game of the Region XIX tournament. Sophomore forward Jenna Karabin led all scorers with four goals and one assist.

Middletown, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's soccer team blanked the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College, 11-0 in the semi-final game in the Region XIX tournament. Sophomore forward Jenna Karabin led all scorers with four goals and one assist. Sophomore defender Rebecca Gorenstein ripped two shots off a few dribbles to find the back of the net, adding two more goals for the team.
Freshman forward Jada Trotta, sophomore midfielder Nicole Puzo, sophomore midfielder Lorena Santiago, freshman defender Emily Clayton and freshman midfielder Kailie Benko each netted one goal apiece. Sophomore midfielder Emma Kuper, sophomore defender Alyssa Corrado, freshman midfielder Kaylyn Melando and Santiago each dished one assist.
With the win, Brookdale advances to the finals to take on the Vikings of Ocean County College at 10:30am on Friday, November 1st. The Region XIX finals will be hosted at Ocean County College.
