Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale women's soccer had a tough outing against top contender RCSJ-Gloucester in a 2-0 Region XIX loss. Both teams have five wins in the region and nine wins in the overall wins category.
The Roadrunners scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 advantage that held for the remainder of the game. The Jersey Blues defense worked to defend the Roadrunners' 26 shots as freshman Demitria Fredericks worked overtime in the goal with 13 saves.
Brookdale (9-2) will host the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings, their last regular season match on Tuesday, October 21st, at 4:00pm.
