Brookdale Women's Soccer Advances To Nationals With Late Goal; Tomassini Earns MVP
Toms River, NJ - The #2-seeded Brookdale Community College women's soccer team defeated the #3 Ocean County College Vikings, 1-0, in the Region 19 East B District Championship to advance to the NJCAA Division III National Championship in Herkimer, New York, from November 11–16th at Wehrum Stadium.

Toms River, NJ - The #2-seeded Brookdale Community College women's soccer team defeated the #3 Ocean County College Vikings, 1-0, in the Region 19 East B District Championship to advance to the NJCAA Division III National Championship in Herkimer, New York, from November 11–16th at Wehrum Stadium.
Freshman midfielder Bella Tomassini delivered the game-winning goal with just 3:27 remaining, breaking a scoreless tie and sealing the victory for the Jersey Blues. Tomassini recorded seven shots on goal and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Championship for her performance.
Freshman goalkeeper Demitria Fredericks anchored the Brookdale defense with four saves to earn the shutout.
With the win, Brookdale punches its ticket to the national stage, continuing its impressive postseason run.
