Cranford, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team won their 2025 season opener against the Union College Owls in sweeping style with scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.
Leading the Jersey Blues was freshman outside hitter, Gemma Ferris (Wall High School), with 11 kills and three aces. Returning outside hitter, Alana Pytel (Marlboro High School) posted three kills and five aces in the defeat.
The Jersey Blues will play their next match at home against the Bergen Community College Bulldogs on Saturday, September 13th at 12:00pm.
