Ferris and McKelvey Earn All-Region Honors After Standout Seasons

Lincroft, NJ - Two Brookdale Community College women's volleyball players have been recognized among the best in Region 19, earning spots on the DIII All-Region Teams after exceptional freshman campaigns.

Outside hitter Gemma Ferris delivered a powerful season, finishing with 320 kills, 50 service aces, and 377 digs across 20 matches to earn her place on the First Team. Her consistent all-around play made her one of the most reliable offensive and defensive contributors for the Jersey Blues.

Setter Bella McKelvey was selected to the Second Team and also put together an impressive year, recording 75 kills, 691 assists, 66 service aces, and 303 digs in 20 matches. Her leadership on the court and ability to control the pace of play were key factors in Brookdale's success throughout the season.
