Jersey Blues Powerhouse: Ferris Earns All-America Nod
Lincroft, NJ - Freshman outside hitter Gemma Ferris of Wall Township High School has added national recognition to an already historic season, earning a spot on the NJCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball All-America Second Team.
Lincroft, NJ - Freshman outside hitter Gemma Ferris of Wall Township High School has added national recognition to an already historic season, earning a spot on the NJCAA Division III Women's Volleyball All-America Second Team.
Ferris made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season, appearing in 20 matches during the 2025 campaign. She finished the year with 320 kills, placing her fifth in the nation in kills per set. Her offensive production was matched by her all-around play, as she tallied 50 service aces and 377 digs, proving to be a constant presence both at the net and in the back row.
In addition to her national honor, Ferris was recognized throughout the season for her consistent excellence. She earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-GSAC honors, was named GSAC Player of the Year, and also captured GSAC Player of the Week accolades.
