Brookdale Women's Cross-Country Finish 2nd & 3rd In Region Championship

Newark, NJ - On Sunday, October 27th, the Brookdale women's cross-country team participated in the NJCAA DIII Region 19 Championship at Branch Brook Park.

The women's 5k was led by freshman, Georgia Jones, who finished in 2nd overall. Jones was followed by sophomore captain, Brooke Meberg, who finished 3rd. Both Jones and Meberg finished in the highest place that Brookdale women's program has seen in the past 15 years. 

The Jersey Blues women are off this week, but return to the trails to compete in the NJCAA DIII National Championship in Richmond, VA on Saturday, November 9th, in Pole Green Park.
