Shakyra Moore Breaks Single Season Home Run Record

Lincroft, NJ - Freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore broke the single season home run record against the Dukes of Cumberland County College on Thursday, April 18th in the first game of the two-game series. Moore crushed her 17th home run in game one and launched her 18th in game two. 

The previous record was held by left-fielder Taylor Mennie, who topped the leader board in the 2017 season with 16 home runs.

Moore has a promising future to add to her record as the Jersey Blues continue through the 2019 season.
