Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College women's basketball earned a commanding 61-45 home victory over the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners in the Robert J. Collins Arena, improving to 7-4 on the season.
Freshman guard Leomary Diaz-Merino delivered a standout performance, scoring a game-high 29 points while going an impressive 16-for-18 at the foul line and recording five steals.
Sophomore guard Jocelyn Jackson provided a strong scoring presence with 15 points, while freshman guard Laila Hagan added 12 points and four steals. Brookdale's defensive pressure throughout the game forced turnovers and limited the Roadrunners offensive rhythm, allowing the Jersey Blues to build and maintain control.
Brookdale will return to action on Tuesday, December 16th at 5:00pm, traveling to face the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes.
